Love And War

Love is unfair and so is war.
In fact, they are both the same.
To some, they are great and noble deeds.
To others, they are just games.

And so you played this war of love
And yes , this game I lost.
So now, I ask, I need, I seek
Just one favour last.

Place your hand on my bleeding heart
And before I fade to mist,
Take the sword you pierced me with
And keep it, with a kiss.

- John Arul Prakash

Another of my mad ravings on the same topic. I think it is one of my best. I do not know why I come back to the same old thing again and again.

wonderful john....very touching...and brutal truth.....so u dont agree with all is fair in love and war?lemme say this..whoever the anonymous is...i dont agree with u....practical world has nothing to do with this..this is all about leading someone into believing something they like...and ditching them when we have too much to handle...u may call this practical..i dont..this is deceit and betrayal and extremely selfish.sheerly taking advantage of a person's emotions and vulnerability.

John,do you feel lonely? Lonliness is of two types: one is with reference to a particular person or a group of people (simple expression is,'I miss him/her' or 'I feel homesick'. Another is what you feel like when your thoughts, ideas, perceptions (anything springing out of your mind) differ from the universal spectrum.

But I have found out and am confident of recommending one antedote for this. That is 'being in the God's household'. Jesus is a person, an eternal conemporary, who really is warm enough to soothe us off the frozen lonliness. The Jesus' community (church?) is large enough, of which we can never be excluded; Time of Distance is no excuse there. Cheer up, John! Already you're there. God bless you!

Follows my comment..........:-

Edit: read "time of distance" as "time or distance"

Add: As our mind dwells in God's mighty realm, any thought, idea or perception is understandable by God and certainly you will feel His company in thinking; (like a friend giving company in walking time). That is the work of the Holy Spirit. Experience and enjoy!
